David McAllister performingThe Deakin David McAllister Scholarship

This generous scholarship is named in honour of an outstanding alumnus of the Arts and Entertainment Management program, David McAllister AM, Artistic Director of The Australian Ballet.

The winner will receive $6,000 towards tuition fees and study expenses.

One scholarship per year is available. It will fund $1,350 per unit for tuition fees, payable on completion of unit, up to a maximum of 4 units, plus $600 for study expenses payable on the commencement of the course.

The duration of each scholarship will be 2 years.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this scholarship you must be:

  • An Australian citizen, or permanent resident
  • Enrolled in M519 Graduate Certificate or M735 Masters of Arts and Entertainment Management

Selection criteria

  • Academic merit
  • Potential to contribute to the cultural industry.
