Jayne Lovelock

Jayne is an arts professional who has worked across diverse artistic fields, and graduated with a Masters in Arts and Entertainment Management in 2010. Her passion is for the promotion and presentation of culturally diverse arts across mediums, and her mission as an arts manager is to facilitate cross-cultural dialogue that foster innovation in the arts in Australia.

Jayne's successful application to the Arts Management Alumni prize involved the development of a project connecting emerging Australian and European artists. This involves creating a community of young digital artists in both Melbourne and Paris; artists dedicated to new concepts of art incorporating multimedia and digital art forms. As part of the project, Jayne intends to initiate a digital network allowing for the exchange of artistic ideas and the creation of opportunities to exhibit in innovative ways. While in Paris, Jayne will engage in professional development by studying at the Parsons Paris Summer School in Art and Design Management. She also intends to develop her 'Projected Spaces' initiative which is a physical and virtual exhibition in Paris of Australian work.
