Honours

What is Honours?

Research-based Honours is a fourth year of specialised study taken after a three year degree, such as the Bachelor of Commerce degree. This degree must include a major in Human Resource Management, Management, Marketing or Sport Management. The School of Management and Marketing's Research-based Honours program offers advanced study in your chosen area and training in research techniques.

The Honours program is an eight credit point program, comprising four credit points of coursework units which provide research training, and a research project worth four credit points. Your research will be individually supervised by an experienced staff member of the School of Management and Marketing. It is a small, but intensive program with a group of bright and highly motivated students.

The Faculty of Business and Law offers the Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in other disciplines including Accounting, Economics, Finance and Information Systems.
