Student Profile

Daniel Scarfo

Studying for a Bachelor of Property and Real Estate while working in the field has proved a winning combination for Daniel Scarfo. Daniel comes from a dairy farm near Sale and is living proof that a rural location and a job are no barrier to completing a tertiary course.

During term, he works part-time as an assistant valuer, switching to full-time work during the mid-year and summer breaks. 'I couldn't recommend it highly enough,' he says of his decision to juggle two roles. 'I get to apply what I learn to the workplace straight away, without having to wait until the end of my degree.'
