Business and Law students celebrated for their leadership and community engagement achievements

The Faculty of Business and Law has hosted an award ceremony on 1 August for Student Leadership and Community Engagement Awards 2011. This is the second year for the Faculty to recognise and celebrate student leaders who have made a difference and engaged actively within the context of the Faculty, University, cultural or local communities.

In engaging in their local communities, students not only develop partnerships and networks but also gain opportunities to develop skills and attribute both personally and professionally. The Faculty are proud of students who made great contribution to our local communities and aiming to promote their achievement to a wider community.

The event was hosted by Associate Dean (Teaching and Learning) - Associate Professor Dianne Waddell on behalf of the Faculty. Cr Ben Stennett - Mayor of City of Whitehorse was invited to deliver speech during the ceremony and granted certificates to award winners.
