Professionals Week features a week of seminars, workshops, skills development networking, events and fun specifically designed to be relevant, responsive and innovative for all students in the Faculty of Business and Law.

Professionals Week is an event in the spirit of collaboration and partnership for the purpose of developing and supporting student professional development, in an appropriate and engaging environment. Planning of Professionals Week was in consultation with the Interim Dean Professor Barry Cooper; the Associate Dean Associate Professor Greg Wood; educational developers and all schools in the Faculty; the Careers and Academic units of Student Life, Deakin International; DUSA, Deakin Commerce Students' Society, Deakin Business Students' Society, Deakin University Commerce Society, Deakin Law Students' Society, Toastmasters, Deakin Debating Society, Deakin Commerce Alumni; Deakin Health and Well-being; Deakin's Divisions of IT Service; Knowledge Media; Media; Marketing; the Institute of Teaching and Learning; the Library and the Vice-Chancellor's Office. Professionals Week has also been developed with the Career Industry Council of Australia's National Career Development event and Deakin Career Month activities.
