Centre for Regional Economic and Public Policy

The Centre combines the research expertise of the economists in the Faculty of Business and Law around the theory and practice of Regional Economic and Public Policy.

The group's strength is on the interplay between theory and empirics with a strong policy focus, in the key research areas of:

  1. Factor and Product Markets: Health and Labour Economics, and Industrial Policy
  2. Macroeconomic Policy and Growth
  3. Political Economy and Public Choice

Centre for Sustainable and Responsible Organisations
 This Strategic Research Centre uses an interdisciplinary approach to address how public and private organisations can be both ecologically sustainable and financially responsible over the long term. This work is carried out from an economic, social, environmental and ethical perspective. It aims to improve management theory and practice as well as industry and government policy.
