Examinations

More information on examinations.

On-campus students

On-campus students must sit examinations at the campus of unit enrolment.

Off-campus students

Off-campus examinations are generally conducted at the Geelong Waurn Ponds Campus and the Warrnambool Campus.

Change of Examination Centre (off-campus students)

You should first check the list of exam centres to find the one nearest to you.

Requests for a change of venue are to be lodged with Division of Student Administration (DSA) at least 4 weeks prior to the start of the examination period.

Take note of the exam centre code and then contact DSA to advise the change. You may also submit the Enrolment Variation form included in your pre-trimester mail-out to advise the change.

There may be a fee to change your exam venue. These are set out in the Fees and Charges booklet.

Missed Examination

If you missed your examination for reasons that were genuinely beyond your control, then you must lodge an online application for special consideration on StudentConnect.

Ensure that you read your timetable correctly, as misreading the timetable is not grounds for special consideration. Temporary minor illnesses such as colds, sore throat, headaches are also unlikely to be accepted as grounds for not sitting an examination.

Examination Clashes

If you have two or more examinations scheduled at the same time you should visit the Current Students website to find out what you need to do and how this will be managed by the Division of Student Administration.
