Re-enrolment
Undergraduate Students
All students must re-enrol to study in the following year. Don't leave it until the last minute!
- You must re-enrol online via StudentConnect by the specified date. More re-enrolment information.
- Failure to re-enrol by the specified date may incur a late fee or may result in you losing your place requiring you to apply for re-admission. More on re-enrolment deadlines.
- All students should contact a Faculty student adviser for advice prior to re-enrolment.

Before re-enrolling check your course completion details on StudentConnect to ensure that you are following the course rules and enrolling in the correct units to enable you to meet all your course requirements. Go to the Course Completion link on the left hand menu of StudentConnect.
Adding value
Take the opportunity to add value to your degree by completing a Business Internship or studying overseas for a trimester or two. Business Internship information and application procedures can be found on the Business Internship website. Unlike other undergraduate units students cannot enrol directly into MMI301 or MMI302 (via StudentConnect) until a completed BIP Student Application Form is submitted and approved.

Consultation for assistance in course planning
Students are encouraged to seek course advice when planning their future enrolment. Course advisers are available on each campus - you can make an appointment by phone or email your enquiry.
Business and Law re-enrolment occurs in September
All students are required to re-enrol online via StudentConnect for the academic year, including those
- who anticipate that their academic progress may be unsatisfactory in the current year;
- who have approved intermission ending in Trimester 1 of the following year (you should still enrol for Tri2);
- who are applying to transfer to another course within Deakin University (you should still re-enrol in your current course).
You must re-enrol in all the units you wish to study in both Trimester 1 and 2. You must also go through all the steps of re-enrolment, as detailed on StudentConnect and take a note of the receipt number at the end of the process. Without it you may not have re-enrolled correctly.
Trimester 3
Trimester 3 is usually open for enrolment via StudentConnect in early September.
T3 enrolment can assist in fast-tracking your course towards earlier completion, it can enable you to spread your course load over the year without falling behind or you can use this trimester to catch up on any failed units (all subject to availability of units offered in T3).
