- About Deakin
Deakin University is committed to providing educational opportunities for capable students who might not otherwise enjoy the benefits that flow from access to higher education. Our goal is to ensure that all students realise their potential irrespective of background or personal circumstances.
In support of this initiative the Faculty of Business and Law is offering grants to financially assist students commencing an undergraduate degree through our Faculty on the Melbourne Burwood Campus, the Geelong Waterfront Campus, Warnambool Campus or cloud (online), previously known as off-campus.
Grants of up to $2000.
To further enhance academic success and promote social happiness, grant recipients will be linked to an academic or student mentor.
The grant will be paid over one year, the student's first year of study.
The grant cannot be deferred.
Once you have completed these two steps, and you are confirmed as meeting the requirements of a SEAS Category 4 applicant, you will be considered for the award of a grant. Study may be on a full-time or part-time basis.
As part of our commitment to providing access and equity, we encourage SEAS applications and advise that all applications will be seriously considered.
VTAC timely applications for 2014 close 5pm 27 September 2013.
