Review of results
This process is for students enrolled in a Faculty of Business and Law Unit only.
This process is in pursuant of Regulation 5.3(1) - Assessment and Academic Progress in Higher Education Award Courses (section 4) and Assessment (Higher Education Courses) Procedure (section 5, clauses 73 to 81).
There are two types of review: an Administrative Review checks that your final mark is correct; an Academic Review may grant a remark where assessment policies were not followed.
If you want feedback on your exam or final result... You should contact your Unit Chair. This is for feedback purposes only and not an opportunity to seek a remark.
If you are wanting specific exam feedback please contact the Unit Chair as soon as possible (do not wait until you have received an outcome for your review application). Unit Chair’s only have access to exams to provide specific exam feedback for 3 weeks following result release. After this time they may only be able to provide general feedback on the unit.
If you or a close family member were sick/unwell... You should apply for special consideration within 3 days of the assessment/exam.
If you think your assignment and exam marks have been added up incorrectly or a mark is missing from your final result... You should apply for an Administrative Review of Result.
If you can show that the information provided in the Unit Guide or that the University assessment policies were not followed... You should apply for an Academic Review of Result. In your application you must provide reasons to show how they were not followed.
Applications are now closed.
