Review of results

This process is for students enrolled in a Faculty of Business and Law Unit only.

This process is in pursuant of Regulation 5.3(1) - Assessment and Academic Progress in Higher Education Award Courses (section 4) and Assessment (Higher Education Courses) Procedure (section 5, clauses 73 to 81).

There are two types of review: an Administrative Review checks that your final mark is correct; an Academic Review may grant a remark where assessment policies were not followed.

Sick/unwell

If you or a close family member were sick/unwell... You should apply for special consideration within 3 days of the assessment/exam.

Final unit

If this is your final unit, you should check if you are eligible for a pass conceded.

Final result 44

If your final result was 44... This probably means you did not meet a hurdle requirement. Check your Unit Guide. Contact your Unit Chair for feedback.

Review Options

Administrative

If you think your assignment and exam marks have been added up incorrectly or a mark is missing from your final result... You should apply for an Administrative Review of Result.

Academic

If you can show that the information provided in the Unit Guide or that the University assessment policies were not followed... You should apply for an Academic Review of Result. In your application you must provide reasons to show how they were not followed.
