Deakin University has a proud history in broadening access to education and offers a vast range of access and equity scholarships and grants. In addition, the Faculty of Business and Law offers a number of merit-based scholarships specifically related to its undergraduate program.
Alfred Deakin Scholarships in Law
A number of Alfred Deakin Scholarships in Law will be awarded to the highest scoring students admitted to the Bachelor of Laws. These scholarships provide up to $2800 per year for four years of an LLB or five years of a combined law course, subject to academic performance, and the support of an academic mentor from the Law School. Business Scholars Program
The Faculty of Business and Law is expanding its commerce scholarships program to include all business degrees (excluding law). The new Business Scholars Program (BSP) is open to students of Commerce, Information Systems, Management, Property and Real Estate, Sport Management and Sport Development.
The BSP, which will replace the Dean's Scholars Program, Melbourne and the Dean's Scholarship Program, Geelong and Warrnambool, with separate VTAC codes for each campus and a new application process. More information on the Business Scholars Program.
MBA (International) Scholarships - India
Indian students can qualify for one of two scholarships, which offer a reduction in course fees, including the combined double degrees. Further information on MBA (I) Scholarships - India
MBA (International) Scholarships - GMAT/GRE

Deakin University is committed to providing educational opportunities for capable students who might not otherwise enjoy the benefits that flow from access to higher education. In support of this initiative the Faculty of Business and Law is offering grants to financially assist students commencing an undergraduate degree through our Faculty on the Melbourne Burwood Campus, the Geelong Waterfront Campus or off-campus. The Faculty of Business and Law offers grants to assist rural students commencing an undergraduate degree in commerce, law or management on the Warrnambool Campus. One year bursaries are offered to new, full tuition, international students applying for postgraduate study in the Faculty of Business and Law and commencing studies for the first time. Further information on the International Postgraduate Bursaries.
