Work experience can make all the difference when you graduate and are applying for jobs. Work integrated learning (WIL) is an opportunity for you to gain work experience and credit towards your degree.

The Faculty of Business and Law offers several flexible WIL programs suitable for most students in all disciplines and levels including those from other faculties and universities.

Our flexible work integrated learning programs:

  • prepare you for the day-to-day requirements of prospective employers
  • develop your professional work practices and networks
  • allow you to put your theoretical knowledge into practice
  • provide credit towards your course
  • assist you to become a more competitive graduate

WIL in Business and Law
CBV students
are unpaid placements in not-for-profit, community or other approved organisations.
BIP student
units are paid or unpaid placements with a general business or discipline focus. Internship units are suited to undergraduate students in their second or third year.
IBL student
units are paid placements with a rigorous competitive application process. Industry based units are only open to undergraduate students in their final years of study.
