Internship creates opportunity
Courtney Lever studied marketing and public relations during her degree at Deakin University. Courtney realised as her studies progressed she needed to extend her knowledge of the business environment beyond the classroom.
An internship with Empire Communications was negotiated which allowed Courtney to gain exposure to a range of marketing issues including research and business planning.
The internship experience was instrumental in Courtney securing her current position as Event Operations Coordinator at the Australia Grand Prix Corporation.
