Warrnambool Campus facilities and services

Warrnambool Art
Located on the eastern outskirts of the city, the Warrnambool Campus has modern purpose-built facilities including lecture theatres, tutorial and seminar rooms, laboratories, studios and computer rooms. Specialist facilities include computer laboratories, audiovisual equipment, new painting and drawing facilities overlooking the Hopkins River, science laboratories and a field station at Lake Purrumbete.

Campus facilities and services include:
  • Cafeteria and bistro, and SUB - the student union bar overlooking the Hopkins River
  • Student association shop selling second-hand books, confectionary and movie tickets, hire of canoes and sports equipment, and a campus bookshop
  • Banking and mail facilities
  • A childcare centre
  • Opportunities to surf, sail, row, scuba-dive, hang-glide, fish and swim within minutes of the campus, world-class rock-climbing at Mt Arapiles, bush-walking and camping in the nearby Otways, Grampians and Glenelg National Parks, and whale watching for the famous Southern Right Whales
  • A well-equipped sporting pavilion, home to 'The Sharks' football, netball and hockey clubs which compete in the district leagues, a gymnasium, 9-hole golf course and squash and tennis courts
