 Deakin's Geelong Waurn Ponds Campus is located on the western edge of Geelong, 72 kilometres south west of Melbourne.

The campus features expansive landscaped grounds and extensive sporting facilities. It is the second-largest campus of the University, with more than 4300 on-campus students.

The campus is home to the Geelong Technology Precinct, which provides research and development capabilities and opportunities for university–industry partnerships and new enterprises in the region.

Areas of study offered at this campus include arts, business, education, engineering, management, media and communication, medicine, health sciences, information technology, law, psychology and science.

On-campus accommodation is provided for 447 students in 40 units. Unit sizes vary from two bedrooms to 29 bedrooms. All units can be mixed gender and multicultural.
