Over the past 5 years, the School has been growing its undergraduate programs in the area of coaching and counselling psychology. More recently, we have commenced graduate certificate and graduate diploma courses, where there has been strong demand. We are now planning to expand these courses, particularly in the area of Health Coaching (in chronic illness, rehabilitation, exercise & nutrition) among others.
The Associate Professor will provide outstanding academic and research leadership in the area of coaching/counselling psychology. They will contribute to the development and teaching of curricula in the area, and undertake research, publish, and attract research funding. The appointee will promote the Faculty within the academic and professional communities in Australia and internationally. The appointee will contribute to the Faculty’s teaching, research, program development and service at a national and international level.
The Senior Lecturer will be required to develop and teach in coaching and counselling, and to undertake research, publish, and attract research funding in the area. The appointee will promote the School and establish and maintain links and partnerships with the academic, industry and professional communities. The appointee will make an independent contribution to the School and Faculty's teaching, research, program development, and relevant service activities.
