Deakin University Health Insurance Plan

Welcome to the Deakin University Health Insurance Plan - a special corporate health insurance arrangement introduced by Deakin University in conjunction with Health Link Consultants and Australia's largest not-for-profit health insurer, HCF.

Through the Health Plan you can choose a policy with a hospital excess and enjoy great premium savings. Then if you or an eligible family member are hospitalised your excess will be refunded to you by the Health Plan.

So instead of paying as much as $260 per month for a family "no excess" top level hospital cover with some funds, you pay only $180 (approx.) per month for a policy with a $250 excess - which is refunded if you or an eligible family member goes to hospital.
