To all parents and teachers who have participated in this study by completing a questionnaire :

Thank you! You have made a real difference by contributing to these research findings. The collection of survey data is now finished, and interviews with parents and teachers are being conducted.

A large proportion of parents and teachers who completed a survey said that they were willing to be interviewed. As we can only interview a limited number of people, we will not be calling on all who volunteered. If you volunteered and are not contacted for an interview, please be assured that your responses in completing the survey have made a major contribution to the study. As well, any additional comments that you wrote on the survey will form an important part of the data analysis.

A report of the study's findings will be made available on this website in 2009. A copy of this report will also be provided to departments of education, early intervention centres, cochlear implant clinics and other interested parties.
