Using our facilities

As an educational, cultural and sporting hub, Deakin's Melbourne Burwood Campus offers a wide range of facilities and services to the public. We encourage visitors from the wider community to dine in our cafes and restaurants, use and join our library, appreciate our art and sculpture collections, workout in our gym or hold an event in one of our many great function spaces.

Visit our Art Gallery

The Deakin Art Gallery is a dynamic exhibition space showcasing prominent and emerging artists on a regularly rotating exhibition program. The gallery frequently hosts free artist talks, demonstrations and tours, and is complemented by an impressive collection of contemporary public sculptures located throughout the campus grounds.

Deakin has also established partnerships with the City of Whitehorse, through its Whitehorse Art Space, and the City of Greater Geelong, through the Geelong Art Gallery, enabling collaborative and curatorial projects, artwork loans and cross promotion of exhibitions.
