A preliminary programme of field excursions is listed below (please note this is subject to changes as we approach the conference time). Details of the planned excursions can be found in the first and subsequent circulars.
E1:	Perth to Shark Bay, Western Australia: Permian to Cenozoic brachiopods and living stromatolites (pre-conference)
E2:	Southern Sydney Basin: Permian stratigraphy, sedimentology and cold-water brachiopods (post-conference)
E3:	New Zealand: Living brachiopods in Doubful Sound, Fiordland (post-conference)
E4:	Central New South Wales: Ordovician-Silurian-Devonian brachiopods (post-conference)
MID 1:	Devonian brachiopods and modern marsupials (mid-congress)
MID 2:	Permian of the Bacchus Marsh Area, Central Victoria: glacial sediments and landforms (mid-congress)
