Biography

Biography

Margaret is the Senior Digital Communications Officer in the Faculty's International and Partnerships Group and is responsible for providing high level digital development and e-channel support for the Faculty of Arts and Education, ensuring that important web communication requirements of the Faculty are effectively implemented and administered within the framework of Deakin University and the Faculty of Arts and Education strategic priorities, policies and operating procedures. 

An important responsibility is to work in close consultation with the Faculty's Manager of International and Partnerships, Marketing and Alumni Manager, Deakin eSolutions and the Marketing Division, to develop and implement effective e-channel marketing campaigns (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Linked-In, etc.), that support Faculty and University strategic objectives related to domestic and international undergraduate and postgraduate student recruitment.

Margaret has been with Deakin University for over nine years.  She initially served as Team Leader -  Educational and Online Development for the former Faculty of Education before assuming the role of Web Communications Officer for the newly merged Faculty of Arts and Education in 2008.
