Biography

Biography

Over twenty years of architectural practice experience across a range of projects and scales from coastal extensions to working on the design and documentation team of Deakin University Woolstores (Waterfront) campus, primary and secondary schools, shopping centres, residential subdivision design and prefabricated modular buidings. Director of FUNKarchitects P/L from 2006
Lecturer in the School of Architecture and Built Environment from 1999 and winner of multiple university teaching excellence awards, including a National Citation for outstanding contribution to student learning and the Hansen Yunken FE Crowle Award for Teaching Excellence for the Australian Institute of Building. Invited studio workshop leader in Germany and Hong Kong and acknowledged researcher into innovations in the design studio.

Architectural design studio pedagogy with a particular emphasis on learning technologies, representational media, CAAD and social networks, music and architecture, performance as a generative tool.
