Investment Advisory Committee

The Investment Advisory Committee is a subcommittee of the Finance and Business Affairs Committee, a standing committee of the Council.

Key responsibilities of the Investment Advisory Committee are to:

  • provide strategic advice to the Finance and Business Affairs Committee on the University's investments
  • provide advice to the Finance and Business Affairs Committee on proposed changes to the University's Investment enabling policy
  • oversee University investment performance pursuant to the Investment enabling policy.

The Investment Advisory Committee comprises six members: two external members of the Finance and Business Affairs Committee; three members with substantial financial management expertise, appointed by the Finance and Business Affairs Committee; and the University's Chief Financial Officer.
