Ern Hartley Foundation Award
This award was established by the Ern Hartley Foundation to reduce study expenses of continuing students from the City of Warrnambool and the South-West regions of Victoria who come from a financially disadvantaged background.

All Deakin University scholarships have eligibility criteria.
To be eligible you must be:
- An Australian citizen or holder of an Australian permanent humanitarian visa
- A second or third year student enrolled full time in an undergraduate course at the Deakin University Warrnambool campus in a Commonwealth supported place
- A resident of the City of Warrnambool, the Moyne Shire Council or South-West Victoria
- Able to demonstrate financial disadvantage either that they are in receipt of Centrelink benefit or have a personal or family taxable income below the HECS-HELP repayment threshold, depending on independence status.
Scholarship recipients will be required to complete a report detailing how this scholarship has helped you with your studies.
