Content

In this unit, students explore the potential of advanced technologies and their limitations and opportunities, such as high and low resolution, for creative practice. The construction and manipulation of photographic images is creatively and critically considered through a variety of conceptual frameworks. Students will be introduced to current technologies relating to photography and image construction, colour calibration and correction, profile management and fine art inkjet printing. The ethical, social and political implications of contemporary digital imaging will be examined in relation to the production of creative works.
