Students will on average spend 150 hours over the teaching period undertaking the teaching, learning and assessment activities for this unit.

This will include educator guided online learning activities within the unit site.

1 x 2 hour online seminar (recordings provided) each week

Non-compulsory seminar that supports online learning is available during the orientation week of the trimester

Content

This unit provides students with the necessary tools to develop and improve their intrapersonal skills. Students will undertake self-diagnostic assessments and a reflective practice to identify areas and strategies for self-improvement. This unit also provides opportunities to hone communication skills and engage in career goal-setting for effective personal and professional development.

Hurdle requirement

Hurdle requirement: Students must complete the online Introduction to Professional Identity (IPI) module before they gain access to Assessment 2 to evidence student initial development of employability skills.
