The unit introduces participants to the concept and processes of entrepreneurial thinking within the context of small, medium and large organisations.  Students gain an understanding of how to launch a new concept through the development of a venture proposal into a venture plan.  In this way practical experience of the entrepreneurial process is gained.  The unit requires students to examine the skills that entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs need, in both small business and in larger organisations.  Participants are taught techniques and tools necessary for new venture development including launching innovative ideas within the context of existing businesses or markets, as well as being exposed to entrepreneurs who share their experience.
