ContentThe unit aims to enable students to develop an understanding of the Chinese legal system and its relationship to Chinese history and culture as well as to develop an awareness of Chinese commercial law in the context of foreign trade and investment. The unit covers China's legal history and current legal system, law of contract, law of joint ventures and 100% foreign-owned enterprises, foreign trade law, protection of foreign intellectual property, labour and employment issues in foreign investment enterprises and dispute resolution.
Written Assignment 3000 words 40%, Examination 2 hours 60%
