Content

This unit covers electrical power system modelling, symmetrical components,  load flow analysis using various types of load flow methods, balanced and unbalanced fault calculations, power system stability and control.

Assessment

Assignment 1 (individual) - problem solving task 30%, assignment 2 (individual) - project report 30%, examination 40%. To be eligible to obtain a pass in this unit, students must achieve an overall mark of at least 40% in the examination.
