Course overview

If you have completed an undergraduate degree at Deakin University or another tertiary institution in a course that is relevant to health, and you have a good academic record, you may apply to undertake the Bachelor of Health Sciences (Honours).  This honours degree comprises a combination of coursework and a research project.  In the project you will work with a supervisor and gain an insight into research.  On successful completion of your honours degree you may apply to enter masters and doctoral programs by research.

Course rules

The course comprises of 8 credit points of study, including two coursework units in research methods and research issues and an independent research project. Part-time students are required to complete the coursework components in their first year of study.
