Overview
Pharmaceutical Science aims at developing new medicines for the treatment of disease. This major covers topics including the chemistry, biology and technology of medicines and is ideally suited for students who have a strong interest in chemistry, drug action and discovery. You will learn how the chemistry of life determines the biology of cells, tissues and organisms, and explore the drug discovery process from the identification of suitable drug targets to the use of chemistry to isolate, design and apply molecules in the treatment of disease.
