Students will examine narrative, formal and stylistic criteria short film makers commonly use. Through this process students will also learn to understand the role of self-reflection in the development of story ideas. In addition, the unit builds knowledge and skills around pitching creative ideas and narrative script writing. The refined idea will be scripted through two drafts to create a short narrative film script of 5-8 minutes duration.
