Content

This unit aims to introduce students to the basic principles of the craft of animation. Equal emphasis will be on creative and conceptual development within the context of building a foundation for technical and visual problem solving skills. Students work with a range of technologies, both digital and conventional. Aspects covered will include 2D animation techniques such as stop motion and Flash, recording and manipulating sound and video footage, and rotoscoping.
