Module 1: Values-based Management - Conservation Management Planning and the Burra Charter process - Documenting Heritage Places: research, documentation, community engagement

 

Module 2: Assessing Significance, Making Decisions - Cultural Heritage values and thresholds - Managing Change - Maintenance and Monitoring Condition

 

Module 3: Special Topics in Conservation Management Planning - Planning for Pressures and Uses: Risk Preparedness, Sustainability, Visitor Management - Indigenous Cultural Heritage - Ethics in Conservation Practice

Assessment

Two assignments totalling 4500 words (worth 40% and 50% respectively); and on-line class participation of at least 3 posts totalling 500 words (10%).
