Content

This unit provides students with an understanding of some of the major, substantive methodological, ethical and epistemological debates and controversies in social science research. Drawing on select material from the Reading List, the unit encourages critical engagement with different approaches to social research, an awareness of their relative strengths and limitations and an understanding of the complexities of ‘real life’ research.
