Trimester 1: 1 hour lecture and 2 hour practical session per week

Trimester 3: Intensive mode of offer. (Enrolment quotas apply) Classes at Burwood will run from 11 - 13 November 2013 and 18 - 20 November 2013 (10am - 3pm)

Classes at Geelong will run from 21-24 January and 27th – 28th January 2014 (9am -4pm)


This unit is designed to familiarise students with contemporary curriculum and pedagogy in the area of Physical Education as taught in the primary school.  It focuses particularly on the dimension of Movement and Physical Activity, which is part of the strand Physical, Personal and Social Learning in the Victorian Essential Learning Standards.


Assignment one: Four individual online quizzes (40%)
Assignment two: Group task: Curriculum development project (approx. 1000 words)(30%)
Assignment three: Personal reflection (approx. 2000 words) (30%)
