Minimum 8 credit points of strand study (i.e. early childhood, primary or secondary), must have passed all units EEE751, EEE752, EPR701, and EPR702.

Must be enrolled in course E760, and unit ELT712

  2. Theories of leadership – historical and current
  3. Leadership – qualities, skills, attributes and ethics
  4. Aspirational leadership
  5. Leadership in context
  6. Educational leadership and change
  7. Leadership planning and curriculum change

Assessment

Task 1 50% A critical review of the literature in a selected area of leadership theory relevant to the individual’s educational context.

 

Task 2 50% A detailed response to one of four provided scenarios, drawing on course content and relevant literature.
