Content
This unit addresses current neurophysiological and neuroanatomical knowledge of the central nervous system. The implications of this knowledge for our understanding of human behaviour are examined. Topics include: neurons and neural networks; methods of studying the nervous system; basic neuroanatomy; visual and auditory sensory systems; motor activity; sleep; mental disorders and learning.Assessment
