Students will on average spend 150 hours over the teaching period undertaking the teaching, learning and assessment activities for this unit.

Content

This unit combines classroom teaching and hands-on experience of financial market trading. It provides students with the opportunity to trade financial securities in a simulated trading environment and focus on decision-making and implementation of trading and risk management strategies. Students are expected to apply relevant theory to the trading process in an uncertain environment that mimics real financial markets.
