*Placements can be completed in Australia or overseas. Students must apply using the application form which can be found through http://www.deakin.edu.au/buslaw/wil
Students cannot enrol in the unit or commence a placement without written approval.
You will need to access substantial learning resources and experiences in CloudDeakin (Deakin’s online learning environment). Compliance with the Standards in computing, connectivity and student capability are a condition on your enrolment.
The purpose of Community Based Volunteering B is to provide students with opportunity to undertake an unpaid work placement (100-120 hours) with a second authentic not-for-profit organisation.
Students will learn in and with the community, enabling them to build awareness and understanding of themselves as citizens and the contribution that individuals can make to the broader community.
Students will then critically reflect on their placement, their graduate attributes and employability competencies through a continuous assessment process.
