Content

This unit focuses on valuation for statutory purposes and compulsory acquisition and compensation.

Valuation for statutory purposes covers the role of statutory valuation in society with reference to local government rates, mass appraisal techniques and land tax. Compulsory acquisition and compensation cover valuation principles and methodologies, expert witness statements and preparation for court as an expert witness.
