It will introduce students to concepts including analytic and synthetic thinking, the development of hypotheses, construction and deconstruction of argument, credibility and the use of evidence, explanations and inferences, and the process of evaluation.
The unit will help bridge the gap for students who have completed bachelor degrees using traditional learning techniques to enable them to advance into critical thinking and analysis at a level suitable for Masters level units.
