Verandah

Verandah is a student-run creative journal. Each year, a new editorial team is chosen from third-year students studying the Professional and Creative Writing degree. Deakin students can enter pieces of prose, poetry and artwork for free. Verandah is not just a publication, but a club too. The joining fee is just $2.

Words@Deakin

Words@Deakin is a society for students of literature and professional and creative writing, aiming to build a strong literary culture at Deakin University and in the local community. The society runs writing events and workshops – including guest speakers and poetry slams – and publishes a literary zine four times a year to showcase the talents of local, national and international contributors.
