If you are leaving the country, you may want to consider closing your existing bank account, as you will still need to pay account keeping fees if it is kept open. Also, it is generally easier to deal with the banks from within Australia than from overseas.
Make sure you return all library books and settle any debts to the University before your departure. This includes library fines, outstanding tuition fees and any other fees you may have incurred. Your results will not be released nor your degree granted until all outstanding debts have been paid.
