Getting started

Commencing HDR students receive tailored, face-to-face orientation with an International Student Adviser upon arrival in Australia.

These orientation sessions are essential for all commencing HDR students as they aim to provide you with an overview of life in Australia, visa conditions, safety and security as well as check on your enrolment details and ensure that any problems are addressed. These orientation sessions are NOT the same as your Faculty HDR induction sessions. You should attend BOTH the orientation session with your ISA AND your Faculty induction.

Each campus has an ISA responsible for the welfare of HDR students. Please make an appointment to see your campus ISA for orientation. Contact details are as follows:
