The process for applying to transfer to off campus studies is the same process used to apply for a change of course.
If you wish to apply for a course transfer to off campus study please complete an Application for Course Transfer (128 KB) and submit it to the faculty that is responsible for the course. The closing date for course transfers is printed on the application form.
Submission of the application does not guarantee a course transfer and selection will be based on academic performance and availability of places.
Before applying, you should talk to a Faculty Course Adviser for advice. You may also need to seek advice from with the Selection Officer, of the intended course. You can find out who the Selection Officer is through your faculty support office or course adviser.
Please note: International students who apply for off campus study can NOT remain in Australia on a student visa. If you transfer to off campus study and you are on a student visa, you must leave Australia.
It is possible to do an off campus or online unit without transferring to off campus study. Students should ONLY transfer to off campus study if they intend to return to their home country and complete their degree by online/distance education.
If you are not sure about this, please speak to an International Student Adviser for advice about how this will affect your visa.
