Atomic Learning

Atomic Learning online tutorials are available for use by all Deakin students. With a comprehensive library of tutorials at your fingertips, you can get instant answers to questions on most major applications for PC and Macintosh. These online software tutorials are searchable and offer far more than you can expect from the help feature of most applications. It is as easy as typing in a question and getting an immediate response. For example, learn as little or as much as you need to about EndNote, Excel or even Photoshop.

Atomic Learning is available on all Deakin workstations. Simply go to www.atomiclearning.co.uk. Atomic Learning is there to help you and so will not count towards your internet usage when accessed from within the Deakin domain. Should you choose to access Atomic Learning from outside of the Deakin domain (eg. home), you will be charged at the normal rate by your Internet Service Provider.

You can also access Atomic Learning from home, using the username and password available from the Deakin Software Library.

Keyboard skills

A keyboard and typing skills tutor, eText TypeSmart, is available from the Deakin Software Library. TypeSmart is designed specifically for computer technology and also includes important information designed to minimise the risk of overuse injury.
