How do I check my Deakin card balance?

Your balance can be checked by swiping your card on any of the Lexmark MFP's (touch screen device). Alternatively it can be checked by navigating to the Deakin card website.

How do I copy an A4 document?

Select the copy icon.

Swipe your Deakin card.

Place original on the glass or in the document feeder face up.

Select the number of copies.

Press the 'copy it' button on the screen or the green key on the keypad.

Select yes or no when prompted to copy additional documents - make sure you select 'no' to log off the MFD.

How do I copy an A3 document?

Select the copy icon.

Swipe your Deakin card.

Place original on the glass or in the document feeder face up.

Select the number of copies.

Select A3 as the 'copy from' and 'copy to' paper sizes.

Press the 'copy it' button on the screen or the green key on the keypad.

Select yes or no when prompted to copy additional documents - make sure you select 'no' to log off the MFD.

How do I enlarge or reduce my copy size?

Select the copy icon.

Swipe your Deakin card.

Place original on the glass or in the document feeder face up.

Select the number of copies:

a. To enlarge from A4 to A3, select A3 as the 'copy to' size and A4 as the 'copy from' size
b. To reduce from A3 to A4, select A4 as the 'copy to' size and A3 as the 'copy from' size

Press the 'copy it' button on the screen or the green key on the keypad.

Select yes or no when prompted to copy additional documents - make sure you select 'no' to log off the MFD.

What do I do if my Deakin card won't work?

Visit Deakin Card to confirm that you have credit on your card and that the card is active.

How much does it cost to copy?

What is the difference between MFP/copier and a printer?

The main difference between an MFP and a printer is the capabilities. They both can be printed to via a Deakin workstation , but the MFP can also photocopy and scan to email.

What do I do if the copier has run out of paper/consumables?
