Student roving programStudents looking at computer image

Every year Deakin University offers a student roving program whereby current students are employed to assist other students in the libraries and computer labs. To be eligible for one of these casual positions students must meet the following conditions:

As a student rover, you would help fellow Deakin students with general IT and library enquiries, conducting library and computer lab tours in Week Zero and the first two weeks of the academic year, and give presentations about IT at Deakin University.

It's a great opportunity to work in a fun and flexible environment, with positions available across all four campuses. Some student roving positions will be required for the first 3 weeks of trimester 1, and the first week of trimesters 2 and 3, while others are required all year round.

Applications for the 2009 Student Rover Program are now closed, please check our Student Rover application page later in the year for opening dates.
